WIZO WA Supports Ukrainian Refugees


WIZO WA and the Jewish Historical & Genealogical Society of WA will screen “Hunger for Truth” – The Rhea Clyman Story. This groundbreaking documentary profiles Jewish Canadian reporter Rhea Clyman, the first Western journalist to witness and expose Stalin’s State-sponsored famine in Ukraine in 1931/32, which caused thousands of deaths in the Ukraine.  Rhea Clyman was famously expelled from the USSR in 1932.

Details of screening:  Chabad Noranda, 11 Garson Court, Noranda on Sunday 26 February at 2 pm. Afternoon tea will be served.  $10 entry.
